Discover Holidays to Cala Millor
Maybe not as familiar to us as some of the other more commercialised resorts on the pretty island of Majorca, Cala Millor is definitely up and coming and is now a favourite bolthole on Majorca’s north eastern coastline. From the Spanish meaning “Better Bay”, Cala Millor holidays live up to their name as they are an undisputed gem on the largest of the Balearic Islands, Majorca. It is a busy, thriving resort that attracts many European visitors every year and, within about 70 km of Palma, the capital city, it is an accessible holiday venue that is independent of the brasher resorts on the south coast. The baby sister resort of Cala Bona “Good Bay”, literally next door, makes a lovely contrast as this one gives more of the traditional feel of a typical village. Narrow streets and typical old shops and cafes sit cheek by jowl with the modern, bustling town of Cala Millor, so grab the best of both worlds!
Couples especially enjoy the pleasures of Cala Millor holidays and next door in Cala Bona, family holidays are the big thing. Like twin towns, these two certainly complement one another. A few lovely sandy beaches, great watersports activities (think jet skiing, scuba diving and windsurfing), tennis courts and even a 9 hole golf course will please the lively bunch. Cala Millor has plenty of shops too and, on a hot afternoon, there are cafes and shady bars to take refuge from the sun. There are tons of pubs too, so evenings are brisk with the sound of guitars strumming or castanets clacking!
A current, valid Passport is necessary for all visitors. Irish citizens do not require a visa, but other nationalities need to check with their own Embassy.
