Figueretas is like a twin of Ibiza Town, but definitely not identical as the two are different in personality and nature. Let’s say that Figueretas is the shy, timid one and it showcases Ibiza Town as the glamourous one and generously allows it to shine! Figueretas is wise though as it has all the advantages of being Ibiza’s neighbour and is very happy to sit in the shade and enjoy being a resort where even the locals like to visit. Lying only a couple of kilometres apart, you can easily walk from one to the other in about 15 minutes.
Figueretas holidays are suited to couples and a families who enjoy long, sunny days on the beach. The resort boasts a variety of watersports along with typical local cafes and restaurants, where you can enjoy well priced international cuisine, fresh fish dishes or delicious homemade pizza! Figueretas has a lovely tree-lined promenade which edges the beach and this is the focal point for early evening when visitors and locals come out to stroll, enjoy a cold drink and watch the people parade glide by. Pure holiday heaven.
A current, valid Passport is necessary for all visitors to Spain. Irish citizens do not need a visa.
Activities
Take a stroll into Ibiza Town (or grab the local bus which operates very regularly) to see the Castle and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander round the port, then have a drink as night falls and watch the parade of amazing costumes (on the women and men!) that pass by. Visit a waterpark with the kids.
